Together with the church of St. Nicholas, it is situated on the left bank of the Zapadna Morava beneath Mount Kablar. Mentioned in 1476 for the first time. According to tradition, it was built by the monks from the Holy Mountain of Athos in Greece, who retreated from the Holy Mountain of Athos before Catalon in the 14th century. The church floor was painted in 1635 and naos in 1697. a large number of the manuscripts has been preserved. The lodging built by Prnce Miloš Obrenović is situated by the river Morava.
