SVETA TROJICA MONASTERY (dedicated to the Holy Trinity)

Situated in the midst of wilderness and quietude, needed for a deep and a consistent praying, on the slopes of Mount Ovčar. The oldest writen records about this monastery date back to 1594, while those of the Turkish census mentioned it first in 1572. Architecturally, this monastery is unprecedented of all the monasteries in the Ovčar-Kablar gorge. Patron St. Day is the Holy Trinity (in June).
